Even though Mazda is retiring the RX-8 sports car, they will not be retiring the rotary engine which runs it. For us here at Mazda Gallery, and for Mazda fans across the globe, this is something to be celebrated. Previously known as the NSU-Wankel, the rotary engine first came to the US 40 years ago and helped put the Mazda brand on the map.
